Warframe was a game that was there for me when I needed it. When I first got a PS4 a decade ago it was a free game for me to try before I had any games, and I really enjoyed the gameplay loop. Then I got a pretty garbage PC and was pleasantly surprised it could run on that. The progression felt great as I explored new planets and got to try new gear, and at the time there wasn't really a story to push you forward. I joined a small clan with players from the other side of the world, and the bonding and cooperation with them gave me a reason to log in everyday. Those hours were the most enjoyable. After having the whole galaxy unlocked, the game became mindless farming for new gear to try and make the game interesting again. But I was never able to rekindle the spark I once had. Somehow i have almost 1000 hours of playtime between versions and I can't really remember anything that stuck with me. I feel like that is indicative of this game.
