The perfect Pokémon for me, as it focuses on the reason why I like Pokémon : catching Pokémons !
The new formula works so well and I sincerely hope we'll see more games like that, instead of remakes maybe ? Also this takes place in Sinnoh so it made me a bit notalgic (my first game was Platinum).
I must say I appreciate the game being full-solo, now being able to complete the pokedex by ourself without being forced to do trades. And the game having just 1 version.
That being said the game does looks pretty bad (although nicer than Scarlet/Violet imo) and we definitely don't need 1 game per year (and now even 2 really Gamefreak please stop). Also the variety of Pokémon could have been a bit wider, and I thought the postgame quests surrounding legendary Pokémons were pretty boring, which is a shame considering Sinnoh has a great developed mythology.
