Now THIS is Resident Evil; over quickly, but pulse-pounding the whole way through. If you're on your way through just the first time around, it'll take you a nice little while to work your way through, but the replay value in unlocking more for subsequent runs as you get better really makes the game come alive.

While it brings the modern trilogy's gameplay to all-new heights, it unfortunately drops the writing to all-new lows. If you're the type who skips dialogue in RPGs, then this game is a fun experience, but if you like to read literally everything, then you'll be left wanting something more.

Simply phenomenal, not only does it place an enjoyable amount of challenge upon you, but it also has a somewhat intuitive and easily readable UI for the time. Definitely a must-play
