A cool but occasionally annoying linear action TPS which lacks much of atmosphere and progression from the original game. It is especially damaging to a horror game when the game constantly steps aside to show you cool action cutscenes with like one QTE, but the guns are still cool and ammo is actually pretty tight now. There is also some really bad new enemy types like the acid spewers and chargers and some of the cooler enemies from the first game like the flying guys barely show up.
