Oh man how I am disappointed in this game, from the trailer I really wasn't that excited since it didn't really show much besides the new 3D look and combat/hack & Slash and right after finishing chapter 2 I felt bored because the gameplay gets repetitive, the audio sounds weird, the mechanics feels so weird and clunky and also I hate how they changed the gameplay like they did. I loved Stick of Truth and The Fractured but Whole but this wasn't it. Also this game is what like 3-5 hours long? This game is worth $20 on sale nothing more, thanks to steam for refunding my money.

Now onto the actual game:
Gameplay: For the first 15 minutes it's alright but after awhile it just gets repetitive and boring. You are doing the same thing again and again it also feels clunky as well even when you are slashing some of the elves.

Audio: The audio in some parts sounds so weird and off putting even with some of the characters it sounded weird.

Combat: It's your typical hack and slash and they also added in cards that can increase your bow damage, shoot more arrows while charged, increase your sword damage and added in bullshit cards. The combat looks alright but when you start playing you will get bored because half the time you just doing the same thing with such little story.

Characters: Loved seeing some of my favourite characters even the first boss fight was cool, wish they just sticked with the first 2 games mechanics though because this just wasn't it even with the characters.

I would not SUGGEST THIS GAME with the current price tag it has, when it goes down to $15-20 I would suggest buying it but even then this is just mid and honestly shouldn't of got released even with this new 3D format and gameplay it sucks. Thankfully Steam gave me a refund. In all honesty I would finish this game but like I just can't be bothered sitting there mindlessly spamming the same button again and again while being bored out of my mind due to the repetitive gameplay.

There will be spoilers in this review so beware! As someone who played all the Arkham games and finished them multiple times and a massive comic book/DC fan this honestly makes me mad with how bad this game was and how disrespectful it was to all the JL members. I stopped playing this game after Diana's death because I just can't be bothered finishing this trash game. I was going to go for the 100% in achievements but with how bad this game I can't even be bothered finishing it let alone going for all the achievements. The amount of hate this game is getting is deserved.

This game would of been way better if Diana Prince was fighting along with the Suicide Squad or if it was just a Wonder Woman game but hey we are getting of those and that's going to BE WAY WAY BETTER THEN THIS and Diana Prince is going to have the accurate design and a design where it actually looks like her from the comics,animated films and live action films! I do like Harley's design though very accurate same with her voice. Only character in this I actually liked to be honest oh and king shark others were done dirty and disrespected.

Oh gosh where the hell do I begin with this PILE OF TRASH of a game? Let's start with the obvious:
The disrespect to the characters mostly the Justice League members, all their deaths were stupid and their writing was horrible along with the whole damn story. The only one that had a respectful death was Diana Prince even though it couldn't save this game.

Now let's get onto the campaign, graphics and game play:
Campaign - This campaign's writing was absolute garbage like the fact they really did all the JL members so dirty with the disrespect and writing makes me a little pissed to be honest, like they really made Kal-El just die outta no where after using his heat vision ? And we can't forget the other battles, so damn lame and stupid. And why the hell did they make Diana's outfit look so off and making her look like a damn man? It's not that hard to copy her design from the comics and paste it into the game. Theses developers really need to pick up the comics and read all the comics because this was nothing how the JL are.

Graphics - The graphics are so bland and just unsatisfying to look at even on ultra graphics IT LOOKS THE DAMN SAME. Just so plain and bland even most of the character designs were horrible cough cough Wonder Woman. This game feels and looks like a game that would of been released in the early 2010's.

Gameplay - The gameplay is fun but don't get me wrong it gets repetitive very quick along with the side missions they force you to do to level up so you can continue with the main missions. The missions feel the damn same and their is no unique aspect at all. I hate how they force you to do side content to even continue with the story. The characters aren't even fun to play with either. The 2 I think that are good to play with are Harley Quinn and King Shark but even that it gets boring after awhile.

The fact this game is all online is dumb, no wonder the founders of rocksteady left because they knew how trash this game would be. They legit used the arkhamverse for $ and promotion because prime Arkhamverse batman would not die how he did. The Arkhamverse ended with Arkham Knight end of discussion. I would not recommend this game at all especially with them charging $70. This game is a game that you buy on sale. And they really put a LGBT flag into this game as well, I just beg companies please stop pushing this crap on us main reason why so many people are moving to anime and manga because this crap is getting pushed way too hard in western content.

Also it's kinda fishy how most of the reviews on steam are " positive " But in reality this game is getting so much hate, yeah kinda fishy if you ask me. COUGH COUGH Seems like some paid/bought reviews to me.

Bandai Namco's has taken the whole fighting genre to a whole different level with this game from campaign to arcade quest/character customization to Tekken ball and even the online is pretty dope especially the graphics are insane and the amount of good customization you can do in this game for graphics wise is so good.

Campaign - Honestly one of my favourite fighting game campaigns thus far, everything was just perfect from character's, fights, interactions/dialogue and they even added in multiple fights where you fight multiple enemies that was pretty dope and we CAN NOT forget how good the music was. They put the best type of music for the situations and that ending was fire with the final boss fight in the last 2 chapters along side the music playing made me wanna dance while fighting. I really hoped we would of gotten more scenes with Zafina though but all well. The last 2 chapters in the campaign had me getting so hyped not only because of the music but also how they did the fights and slow motion between Jin and Kazuya punches was crazy.

Arcade Quest - This is an interesting mode but I liked how they did it, it's a mode where you create your own character to fight in tournaments and grind levels it's basically like treasure battle in Tekken 7 how you level up to different ranks but in this you rank up via battles to reach the final tournament which takes about 90-120 minutes depending on skill. Like I said very interesting mode they have decided to add but I liked it and it was enjoyable creating the character I did.

Character Episodes - This mode was in Tekken 7 but A LOT more characters added in this mode, I played only 10 episodes and the characters were Kazuya Mishima, Devil Jin, Alisa Bosconovich, Zafina, Azucena, Reina, Nina Williams, Jun Kazama, Ling Xiaoyu & Lili. I thought all character's ending were pretty cool and this mode was chilled. Nothing else to say about this mode basically a mini campaign for each character.

Tekken Ball - Fun mode where you hit a ball to damage either a CPU or an online player. Wasn't really interested in this mode to be honest but I at least tried it out and it was a little fun but meh.

The Roster was stacked in this compared to Tekken 7 to be honest I don't know which roster I love more, I am excited to see what DLC characters they decided to add to this game! This was also WAY EASIER then tekken 7 in the terms of achievements/platinum trophy, kinda wanted a harder list but it is what it is I guess. By far from the main roster theses has to be my favourite characters - Zafina, Azucena, Reina, Lili and Ling Xiaoyu but like Reina is BADASS man I don't wanna spoil anything but wow I was surprised with what happened with her I guess we are getting a tekken 9 and I can not wait to see her development continue!

There is really only 3 achievements that take not too long but 90 - 120 minutes, I wouldn't say grindy just takes long due to cutscenes. The 5 achievements are:
" Get ready for the next battle! ' - Finished Arcade Quest. Along the way you will get the 3 promotion ranks.
" This should be fun. " + " Power isn't everything. " - Finished 5 Character Episode stories. & 10 Character Episodes.
" Despair " + " Hope " - Finished Chapter 15 of The Dark Awakens with Kazuya Mishima victorious. & Finished Chapter 15 of The Dark Awakens with Jin Kazama victorious.
The rest of the achievements are fairly easy and can be done pretty fast it's just theses 5 that take a little longer if you skip cutscenes you can get them done faster but I recommend watching them because the story is dope!

Approximate amount of time to platinum/100% in achievements 7-9 hours. It took me 9.5 hours.
