The remake is better, but I decided to play this one out of curiousity. It's still a damn fun kirby game with a lot of charm, this version also feels a lot harder than the DS one
(outside of the true arena on DS ofc, which is fucking insane) a lot of bosses were killing me in 5 or 6 hits which felt very like low amount of hits for this game. It was refreshing though and made me mess around with a lot of different powerups and taking advantage of range vs just pounding through everything with the hammer.
Also went for 100%!
Maybe I'm just insane but this feels like a version worth playing just for the arena and how much harder it feels vs Ultra's version, gonna replay that in a few days to compare cuz maybe I'm just an idiot. That being said the one thing I do straight up like better about this version is the portraits.
That being said, good game, but please do yourself a favor and play Ultra if you only plan to play this game once, but the game is like 3 hours long I'd try both !!
