I feel like people will kill me for this but I personally didn't enjoy Bioshock until the last two hours (Fort Frolic is the exception, don't worry).
I'm not a fan of shooters at all. I understand that Bioshock was a "game changer" due to the power-like gameplay, but nowadays in 2023.. this is not new. I am happy for what they acomplished, but it's the only strong aspect of it, as the story doesn't have much importance until later and the game knows this, which is why it uses it for the plot twist, which is an elegant way of fixing a weak aspect of the game and something I fully respect.
After the plot twist happens, the game takes a turn and suddenly it's very interesting now.
Overall, it's a good game, it just aged a bit, but it's still good.
