Proper expansion, honestly could have been a standalone game in the same vein as Fallout New Vegas, you're looking at 25 to 40 hours of playtime here. That is a standalone game. The side quests here all have that proper Witcher flair with great storytelling and comedic or dark themes, a gorgeous landscape that contrasts the base game perfectly. Tons of new items, armor, weapons, Gwent cards, even consumables, a large map full of content and character to explore. Memorable characters new and old, including possibly my favorite Witcher character ever. I won't say his name for any people here who are from the books and don't want a spoiler, but you'll know him when you see him. Get it. No reason not to if you even slightly enjoyed the base game. Plus it gives a satisfying and fantastic conclusion to the series that brought a tear to my eye.
