Just play the gba games
I think nearly everything is a downgrade and the only benefit I see is being able to use any navi from a team in either game during liberation missions.
-The ghost navi data shit following you around in the net and in random battles is annoying and ruins the fun of battles. (obviously you can turn it off but still having all this extra blue mystery data on everything to do with this system is annoying)
-The folder customization is so much more awkward and slower on DS vs gba. Saving takes way longer too.
-Being able to change your folder inside liberation missions ruins the point of building a good folder for all aspects of a liberation mission
-These games really didn't need maps and imo ruins the feel of it
-Team navi teaming up in liberation mission ruins the balance
-The music on ds sounds so much worse than gba
-The VAs on navis in your PET just becomes so grating
