This is my favorite game of 2023, and Peppino Spaghetti is my favorite video game character of said year! Seeing him smash, dash, and suplex his way through the titular tower to save his restaurant while being an absolutely anxious wreck makes him strangely empathetic. Also, the visual design is delightfully weird, the platforming is easy to learn and hard to master, the timed final moments of every level makes stressed in a positive way, the music is spectacular, and the boss fights are unique and challenging at the same time! This is a must buy game!
