I've beaten this game multiple times but most recently was in 2014 with a friend of mine. We would take turns with the remote after every death or after every room clear. Something like that. It was a lot of fun to play it that way and thankfully the game is short enough to get through in a few sittings. The whole idea is fantastic and the mansion itself is really cool. I like the art style and how kind of serious it is in the Mario world which usually isn't too serious
