[Actually played on Switch]

A really honest game. Not in gameplay, but in intent. There are details and passion everywhere, and the world feels fleshed out - if you’re willing to explore it. It’s a game of patience both in exploration and combat. Some of the bosses and tactics feel impossible to know and others are simply as brutal as you’d expect given the game’s reputation. But it’s satisfying to overcome, period. I’d still recommend it, if you’re willing to take it slow or have a friend who’s played before nearby. 4.5 stars if I’m ranking it based on how it felt to play with my local DS guru nearby.

Beautifully illustrated and wonderfully self-explanatory. Just the right amount of time with the mechanics presented, and made me feel smart while still giving the necessary hints. Pretty freaking genius.
I'll have to think about the story.

Something about the feel of the movement didn't click with me. Otherwise, phenomenal on all accounts.

8-player multiplayer on the go?? Insanity

4 because of gameplay on the console
+0.5 because of Smash Run
