FOR YARIKAWA 🗣️🗣️ 🗣️ 🗣️ 🗣️ 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥

I've wanted to play this for a long time now and thankfully this bad boy did NOT dissapoint. It honestly might be my favorite playstation exclusive along with Bloodborne.

The battle of komoda beach is one of the best opening sequences that i have ever seen, it immediately throws you into an epic battle and it does a great job at setting the tone of the game, and at introducing a few characters.

The combat system is wonderful, it manages to feel both fluid and cinematic. You have multiple stances that you can unlock by defeating mongol leaders, and each stance is more powerful against a certain enemy which is a good way to encourage stance switching.
Stone stance is powerful against enemies with a sword, water stance is powerful against enemies with a shield, wind stance is powerful against enemies with a spear, moon stance is powerful against brute enemies, and finally you have ghost stance which can be activated after killing a certain amount of enemies without taking damage and once you activate it you will be able to instantly kill a few enemies. Jin also has a bunch of other weapons such as a bow, a blowdart, kunais, sticky bombs, black powder bombs etc. And that's another reason why i love the combat system so much, you have plenty of options on how to approach most enemy encounters (i say most because there are a couple missions where you're forced to do stealth).

Ghost of tsushima's story is often considered to be pretty lackluster and nothing special but i genuinely don't understand that criticism at all.
I think Jin Sakai is a really great protagonist, and there's a few other characters that i really liked such as Shimura, Yuna, Taka, my goat Kenji, Lady Masako, and Sensei Ishikawa.
I think ghost of tsushima's story is at its best when it focuses on Jin and uncle Shimura's relationship. Shimura teaches Jin to fight with honor, however after the battle at komoda beach Jin decides to walk on a different path to save peoples lives. After Shimura sees Jin kill enemies without honor, a very fascinating clash of ideals start to happen between the 2 characters. Their whole relationship is easily my favorite part of the story. My main problem with ghost of tsushima's story are Khotun Khan and Ryuzo. Khotun Khan was lameeee, and i really did not care for Ryuzo at all.

The visuals are absolutely breath-taking. Whenever i was just wandering around the open world i found myself to be going on photo mode very often because it's just so fucking beautiful! It's filled with many vibrant colours, and i can confidently say that this is one of if not the best looking game that i have ever played.

Even tho the open world is beautiful i can't deny that it's kinda ehhhhh. It just feels very repetitive and i wish it had more activities to do.

The boss fights exist..... Most of them feel similar to each other mainly because most boss fights (including the ronin duels) only have a sword as a weapon which means that you will only use stone stance. They also take away most of your weapons for some reason (probably to make the bosses more difficult). Khotun Khan's second phase was awesome tho.

The side quest are lame as fuck besides the mythic tales and the ones revolving around characters from the main story.

The ost is pretty good! My favorite tracks are:
The way of the ghost
Jin Sakai
Yarikawa's defense
Sacrifice of tradition

Ghost of tsushima may have a bunch of issues that keeps it from being a perfect a game, but for me it was still an amazing experience, and you should go play it before anyone starts calling it overrated 🫵
Amazing combat, stunning visuals, good music, great story, great characters, and amazing set pieces.
9/10
