As my introduction to the Persona series, I will always have a soft spot for P4. Overall, this is an excellent JRPG that erases many of P3's flaws and takes the series in an interesting new direction. I love the setting of Inaba, and I've always loved the mystery genre. However, as I've gotten older, it's become increasingly clear that the game's LGBT politics are quite notably shitty even for Japan - a problem it shares with Persona 5 - and that does somewhat dampen the shine on it. That said, it's still one of my favorite games, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone, albeit with reservations.
