the first 2/3 of this game is very ok. Very similar to pokemon red in thats its fun enough but id really just rather play any other pokemon game. The last third is so fucking annoying though. The entire team rocket plotline is incredibly boring, and after you get rewarded with having to grind for an eternity to fight the elite four.
