As someone who played through Nier Replicant before this, I found the narrative to be fantastic, gripping, and incredibly depressing. It's a great game and Platinum Games did such a great job. An interesting blend of a character action game/bullet hell shooter with RPG elements. I think I enjoyed Replicant a little more, but this was a truly unforgettable experience.
