Wow that title, anyway this is essentially a glorified demo for KH3 starring Aqua as she wanders in the realm of darkness. To be honest this doesn't really tell us much we didn't already know, but it at least establishes that Mickey knows where to find Aqua in the future.

That aside though, the tone and mood of this is absolutely superb, it really feels like a lost realm, supplemented by a Fantastic OST and the presentation.

It's taken this many games to get an actual HD Kingdom Hearts and yeah the environments and characters models look great.. expect Mickey I think he needs some work.

The gameplay is condensed for the sake of not overwhelming the player during the 3 hours this lasts. Yeah it's very short, and only spans a few areas. But they are fun to explore with secrets round most corners.

There's also a bunch of objectives you can complete for the sake of unlocking costumes for Aqua, completely optional but there to give the game some more meat.

The main draw is the combat, it's KH as I know it but now it all flows so well, you can cast spells while moving, use powerful finishers and juggle enemies easily.

It's limited due the length of the game, but if this is what I have to look forward to in KH3, then I am very excited - 7/10
