What a beautiful game. One of, if not the, best written game I've ever played. It's got so much to say about love, spirituality, history, and the passage of time, and it executes on those ideas masterfully. While yes, the gameplay is mostly constrained to reading, it still achieves something no other medium but games can do, and that's in how it presents its story. Without wishing to spoil much, Time is a major mechanic in this game, and how the player chooses to use it is primarily how their agency manifests in the game. You can't see everything with the time you have in one playthrough, and that's the point. As in real life, you won't be able to see all of the sides to a story, and you're going to have to learn to live with the decisions you made based on the version of the story you saw.
