I played maybe a few hours of the GameCube original and thought it was good, but never got sucked in. This changed my opinion almost immediately.

Being able to use a regular controller helped tremendously, and the fact that they changed all the controls to work so flawlessly with a different playstyle is to be commended. The story is spooky and wonderful, Samus is a great lead character, and everything here is updated and brought into 2023 with supreme flair and excellence.

I hope they remake the others as well!
