Good lord. Never in a million years did I expect a Pokémon game to make me cry, but here we are! ScarViol are fucking exceptional games that make up for their poor performance in story, characters, and game design. I genuinely think that this is one of the BEST supporting casts we've seen since Black and White. What they have here is objectively really good, and if Game Freak was given more time to develop these titles, they'd be even better! I feel like the more weaker points of the game, besides any performance related issues, are the lack of level scaling, a lame postgame, and once again losing QoL features that were staples of the franchise. Even so, this is a SOLID step in the right direction for the Pokémon Company and I encourage anyone thinking about it, to give this game a chance.
