Pretty much the definitive gen 3 Hoenn experience! Not only is it much easier on the eyes, the bump up in difficulty and gym team variance made Emerald a much more engaging return to Hoenn than the trio of gen 1 and gen 2.

Great remakes!! They definitely found their stride in the artstyle in these games and just made everything look completely gorgeous as opposed to RS. As much as I dreaded coming back to Kanto for a fourth and fifth time, I enjoyed my time this time around :)
