for an hour and a half Resident Evil 5 is an uncomplicatedly good co-op game and I think that's pretty nice. Pacing's better and allows for more banter with your co-op partner, there are more tanky enemies that require active collaboration to take down, and I think the mansion is a way more fun environment to explore than most of the locales in the base game. I like the part where you don't have your weapons, felt like it was the most actively I had to plan and coordinate with my co-op partner thus far in our playthrough. I like the choice here to include stupid-easy survival horror puzzles; feels like it provides just enough extra texture to the experience of playing while also never really allowing for a "what do we do" moment that wouldn't be conducive to what the game's going for. If you want to play a better-paced bit of RE5 that also isn't hilariously racist then Chris and Jill have ya covered B) Now it's back to Kijuju baby!!!!
