Had this on PS4 in 2020, no idea why I never finished it but I did on Series S and I think this game's story is better than LJ's but LJ has way better gameplay, and by that I mean only 1 of them stupid fucking tailing missions.
The gold standard for video game remakes, not a single thing from the original has been lost here and it shows how far ahead ATLUS are compared to the rest of the gaming world.
Took me ages to replay this as you can see because I got busy with Payday 3 but my god this game, even in a slightly butchered state, is still amazing.
Also terrible like I said with the first game, but this one is so... unique. It's very violent, and almost like shock horror in a sense. Played the full thing co op with a friend in one sitting for like 4 hours.
Quite honestly this game is fucking terrible, but I'd be lying if playing it co op with my dad wasn't fun, along with the main themes of the game coinciding with my favourite movie Heat (1995)
Replayed this franchise on Xbox in 2023 as I hadn't last done so since 2020, and wow these games are still fucking great. I had no idea I was getting myself into such a vast world with just this one off purchase in December 2019.
