Portal 2 is a remarable successor and sequel to the original portal, it improves upon the original game in almost every single way that you'd think such a game wouldn't even be possible. Its core gameplay remains the same, you have a portal gun and solve a puzzle, but its unique mechanics in each puzzle room is what gives it depth, and this game keeps improving upon that core concept by adding new and new mechanics to get you hooked and keep learning, while also not being so hard that you'd be frustrated in trying to do it again, its a very unique experience in how it handles its level design, and I quite frankly hold it to a very high standard.

The story is what unexpectedly caught my attention, its charming wit that ages well to this day and is also what I feel like the spark for what was "2012 humor" as this game is a once in a lifetime experience I don't think they could ever improve upon, which shows as Valve refuses to touch this IP in a normal format again. I love this game and would love more, but I am ultimately fine with this being its ending. its aged beautifully graphically and its music is still peak to this day. The part where he kills you is still, shockingly, the part where he kills you.

And that's not even talking about the co-op part. The co-op was very well thought-out with puzzles that actually were solvable by 2 dumb human beings (me and my friend). I do feel like this might have been the direction they were planning to go on before just scrapping it but I could be wrong. The co-op is something you must experience with a friend if you're a fan of portal, as it can be insanely fun and just as frustrating if he decides to keep throwing you in the damn acid.

10/10 would definitely recommend to give this a shot.
