The best presentation an NHL video game has ever had. It makes you feel like you're truly watching a broadcast.

The plethora of features, the early 2000's ESPN graphics package, and the easy to pick up arcade-styled gameplay make this a winner.

If you're a fan of hockey video games, this should be in your library.

Ratchet & Clank gameplay just works. It's addicting and incredibly satisfying once you acclimate to your weapons and abilities.

Rift Apart is the first game I've ever played where it feels like you're playing a genuine Pixar movie.

NHL 2K7 is ripe with extra game modes, fun features, and a whole slew of great work carried over from its predecessors. If you like arcade-styled gameplay, the actual game isn't too bad either.

Greatly expands upon what made the first Hitz great. However, scoring feels more like a matter of luck instead of skill.

Accept the fast-paced gameplay and attune to it, and you'll find this game addicting and adrenaline-inducing in a way that's never been matched by sports games before, or since.

NHL 2K11 makes you think hockey.

Realistic collisions, physics, and animations for hundreds of scenarios cap off 2K's hockey magnum opus. The arenas are incredibly accurate too.

An oddly realistic hockey game like no other awaits you, as long as you can get past the terrible menus.

This is one of those games where, even after scoring a goal or winning a game, it doesn't feel satisfying and you're just confused how you did it.

Undeserving of its bad reputation, this is one of the best arcade-styled hockey game ever made. And it's only a few gameplay slider adjustments away from devolving into the legendary chaos of Hitz games that preceded it.

i'm playing mega man 3 on a plane and you're never gonna guess what stage i'm on

surprisingly, making a game based off the notion of "what if we get rid of everything people liked about the series?" leads to a bad game.
