Celeste is a masterfully made platformer that gives a nice challenge to anyone who plays it, and an even greater challenge to those who seek it out. This game provides a tight set of movement mechanics that are easy to understand with a hidden depth that's slowly taught to the player over the course of the game. While scaling the mountain the climb weighs on your character and the difficulty of the game is reflected in the narrative of Madeline's anxiety filled trip up. I played all the levels and it only left me wanting more, thank goodness for mods.
