Yeah, I don't get the hype around this one. It's great, easily on par with the rest of the Witcher 3, easily worth it since it's some cheap DLC content that lasts as long as some games do, and if you want to 100% it then double that even. But other than that it's nowhere near as compelling narratively as hearts of stone, the new map is as pretty as it is filled with some shit gameplay. Big focus of this DLC are the vampires, notoriously the worst enemies in the entirety of Witcher 3, some of them teleport, and some of them stun-lock you using gaming's worst hitboxes, the devs also added pseudo Far Cry 3 outposts, fucking why? Who wanted that? The story like I said, is pretty good, just nowhere as good as Hearts of Stone or the base game. It's just kinda more Witcher 3.
