So this game first came to my attention from Jim Stephanie Sterling mentioning it as, in it's original form, it was a fun little little premium game that only lightly tugged at you for money for rewards. no premium currency, no easy paths to completion or any of that crap. It was a fun little idle vault builder/management game with some extras, but nothing that was too aggressive.

However...Bethesda being Bethesda decided that wasn't good enough. Initially they had no interest in the game because they didn't think it'd do much and with limited micro-transactions wouldn't do much, so that's when they decided to add the "Nuke Quantum" as a new resource that just like every other manipulative game out there, is given to you in small amounts to speed up tasks, complete missions and so on that they added in one big update! Some of which, having story-lines that are better than anything they've produced in years, so take that how you will.

I still find myself coming back to it, but only ever begrudgingly. I never enjoy coming back to this and I feel I've invested too much to just ignore it forever. That said, I'm more interested in playing the original fallout games. Revisiting them and seeing what kinds of play through I can do. Especially since they were made before the series fell into the hands of this exploitative company.

If you're susceptible to addiction and gambling mechanics prevalent in so many free mobile games out there, I'd give this a wide birth. There's not really that much content in there to keep you invested for more than a few weeks so don't be like me and waste your time on this. There's far better idle games out there.
