i got this game when it first came out and it was my first in the splinter cell series i found it amazing it does a lot of things correct in terms of what you look for in a good game and has many features that were seen as new and inspiring it has a great story and great gameplay.

the trouble with this game though is how it reinvented the series for newcomer like me i found all the features amazing and could not complain about anything as it captured me in its world and narrative but for older fans it changed a lot about what people liked such as the noise meter more variety in ways to go about things and more gadgets lots of fans didnt like that about the game but still thought that it was a fun game just not a proper splinter cell game

what needs to be understood about this game is that this is a more hands on personal man on man gun to gun story in comparison to the other sam fisher doesn't have access to all these gadgets and tech this isnt a mission hes sent on for the great or good hes doing this out of revenge and to find his daughter that was presumed dead hes using everything he has to his advantage.

overall i think more people should try to understand where this games narrative is headed as the gameplay was changed to suit that and i think if you understand that this is a great game with lots of amazing features.
