Good game, but not as good as 2. I liked the puzzles as normal and it was pretty scary, though the sheer magnitude of zombies in this game doesn't quite compare to the more confined, claustrophobic game that is 2. Man do I love that Resident Evil 2.
The story is the main thing that I felt was lackluster compared to 2. I'm someone who doesn't particularly need a fantastic story to enjoy a game, however 2's story was just so engrossing. And its atmosphere. Did I mention that I really like Resident Evil 2? Besides that, I found Nemesis to be more of a nuisance than a legitimately threatening, enjoyable challenge. Whenever it showed up, I was like "oh, this again". The boss fights were good though, I just didn't like the encounters that kept moving me further away from the normal gameplay loop, which I vastly prefer.
Overall, I do recommend despite some flaws. Definitely don't get it full price (I got it through that Humble Bundle that included the entire series), but it is still a fun, breezy survival horror game that I had a good time with.
