2022

you know that one scene from Ratatouille where the guy takes a bite and is immediately sent back to his childhood? that's how it feels to experience Ib again after all these years

also god the designs and art and music and everything in Ib is just So Good.. i love you Kouri

you get a bunch of banger songs added to the soundtrack and a really fun character (even if I suck at her)
100% worth it to get this dlc unless you really hate vocaloid stuff

lethal company but you have to vlog the entire experience to get views

insanely fun with friends, especially when you realize everyone else is dead and you have to retrieve the camera and get back without dying too

there's some mildly cool stuff in here including some great character designs i guess but like
why would you ever play this over any other fighting game on the market

it's just not that fun after an initial half hour/hour of trying out characters (although it gets credit for at least being functional)

don't know how to really review this but it's a work in progress ARG please join and help.. (although it's at the cost of $3 sorry) [we have a discord on the steam discussion forums]

the ai art stuff (no clue if it is actually ai art or not and if it is if it was off their own work or not) is just for the initial start and then it goes into Actual Real (i'm 99% sure) Art from the creator

i love spending way too many hours on making parks that get replaced by a new one in a week

honestly my definitive fighting game

I like the gameplay, I love how every character has unique interactions, I enjoy the soundtrack (even if there's only a few true standout ones imo), and I like a decent amount of the characters and their playstyles. All the dub VAs also did a great job, and I'm a huge fan of how you hear what each player has set for their language (so if you use dub and a friend uses sub you get to hear your character in English and theirs in Japanese)

Technically a weak review because I'm playing on the free version (which btw is one of the coolest things any fighting game has ever done) until the first sale happens, but god it's just so enjoyable and maybe the most hours I have on any fighting game not counting Smash.

Strive has one of the greatest fighting game (and maybe a contender for gaming as a whole?) soundtracks ever and is fun and easy to pick up. I just wish that most of the cool characters weren't locked behind DLC

this game can play binding of isaac: four souls and that's all you need to know

pros:
it's fun
decent amount of mods so you can throw in stuff like marvel superheroes or a small town filled with dummies
cons:
it's really hard to describe how this game is fun without coming off as a complete psychopath (i swear i'm Completely Normal and not a future serial killer or anything)

great zombie survival game that lets you truly live out the thrill of getting bitten once and dying with no cure. only problem is it's probably only really good with friends (subjective view I just don't think I'd enjoy it as much solo).

you can make the most fucked up setups and they'll work so this game is awesome

Good voice acting, good writing, a great ending, and a neat blend of platforming and puzzles/stealth.

I just wish that the gameplay 'evolved' in some way throughout the game. Aside from a few really neat segments, most of the platforming isn't anything special and there's not much more to it than "sometimes you need to drag an object over to get over something". Additionally, I went in with the expectation that there'd probably be more puzzles and stealth than there actually was (unless all the aforementioned 'drag object to get over' parts count as puzzles?)
It doesn't really ruin the experience, especially since you're mostly playing for the story itself, but it does keep it from being up there with other self-proclaimed "Puzzle" games.

SM64 but better in every way because it has Yoshi and Luigi :) (also minigames and the exclusive boss fights/levels)

helps that I grew up with this game so it gets nostalgia points

could maybe use a few more upgrade paths but damn if the game isn't Fun and Addictive, plus it's super enjoyable to 100% (Darkness 15 cleared with all the characters & weapons + the few misc. achievements)

really like the character art too even if it's only visible on the character select screen

never played Vampire Survivors or any other VS-likes so no clue how it compares to any of those
