I've had this ready to emulate for a while, but it wasn't until the announcement of the remake that I got truly excited enough to finally delve in. Not to say I think the remake will be good, but rather seeing the passion for this game spotlighted following the announcement pushed me over the edge.
And yeah, it's pretty special. I feel like there's not much to say which hasn't been said, so I think I'll just give a 5 and leave it at that.
I suppose I will say that, having now played the game, the idea of a remake does seem a bit tasteless, doesn't it? Yet I still find myself oddly excited. It'll be interesting to compare and contrast at least, and they do seem to be setting themselves apart as distinct works, thereby avoiding the artistically treacherous territory of the Bluepoint remakes.
