One of my favourite games from the Wii, ported relatively competently to the 3DS.
This game is a platforming classic. The levels are fun and unique and Donkey Kong feels heavy but responsive and precise. It's a challenge all the way through, but a very rewarding one. Once you get the hang of it, it's hard to put down.
Apart from some slowdown in a few areas, and an obvious graphical downgrade, the port holds up well. I didn't die a lot due to performance or anything like that, and it's a little easier to be precise when you don't have to worry about motion controls.
