Final Fantasy IX is a one of a kind game with a very memorable cast of characters, music, atmosphere, and story.
I do not want to go into too much detail about it but there is a lot of charm with recurring themes that each character has to work through for their personal growth.
I will say that Final Fantasy IX should be the absolute standard for all RPG games. Heavy fantasy setting, you're figuring out a new and unique world and having to work around its means, and having an adventure where every character is vital towards progressing a satisfying and engaging story.

My second favorite game of all time, and would be my favorite if the combat was better, but in terms of story nothing compares to how perfect Xenoblade Chronicles is. I recommend to everyone to play through this fantastic and amazing game.
The music is phenomenal, story mentioned before is in a league of its own, world building is insanely good, characters are lovable and the game isn't a walk in the park either.
