Very fun game, what makes this stand out compared to the other games in the series is how smoothly it controls, it is much better than the heavy controls of the nes games, however what took away half a star for me is the bullshit that the game pulls at the last stage, while it was absent for the most of the game, the trademarked castlevania bullshit shows up in spades in the last stage and it just wasn't fun for me
