Donkey Kong has always been consistent with his platforming titles. And the chilly take that Tropical Freeze did manages to warm my heart. Retro Studios has taken the helm once more to bring the Banana Slammin' Gorilla on another fantastic journey to save his island! Whoever said that this game has no level variety and unique themes must have been smoking something bad, because this is easily a top notch platformer. The second chance given to this game, come its arrival on Switch brings in Funky Kong as a welcome addition to the playable cast for those looking for a groovier time difficulty wise. And to cap it off, David Wise serves up some fantastic melodies fit for a King of the Jungle. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze delivers on its promise of being yet another fantastic 2D platformer!

Ah to be in the elementary school computer lab again. When it comes to tower defense games, you don't quite get one like BTD6. The jump in quality and content from BTD5 is honestly staggering when I first played it. Easily the most definitive Bloons game yet! I can only wonder how they will top it...

The unique level design and concepts are cosmic levels of fantastic. Couple that with an impressive orchestrated soundtrack that holds today and cool level themes and you have a great 3D Mario game!

My first ever RPG game. I've replayed this game so many times I lost count! The story is still one of the best out there, the dialogue is as witty as the other games, and the battle system is one to remember. All of that, and getting to play as the King of Koopas himself? Absolute steal!
