This is one of the best visual novels I have ever played. Truly a gem of an indie game and probably the best written game of 2023. As a horror game this feels more unsettling than scary. I really appreciate how endearing each of the characters get the further along you get (even the ones that seem more maddening in the beginning). The voice acting is phenomenal. You can really feel how the voices fit each of the characters perfectly in each situation. Plus the game is a perfect length and encourages a lot of replay-ability. The only thing I would have wanted added would be a choice map similar to VLR remake to help keep better track of all the different choices you've made. That would be a nice modern visual novel feature to add in a remake/remaster of this game in the future.
