Where tf do I even begin? Do I talk about the legitimately insane art direction that puts most triple A games to shame? Do I talk about the tense, powerful soundtrack that I'd argue is film score levels of good? Do I talk about the immensely difficult yet extremely satisfying level design that ties in perfectly with the game's themes of perseverance and depression? Do I talk about said themes and how they're some of the most identifiable and powerful messages I've seen in a piece of media since When Marnie Was There? Do I talk about how I might actually like this MORE than When Marnie Was There, a sentence that 2022 me wouldn't even believe was true? I don't know, man. I think I need to think about this game for a bit before I can truly come to a full thought-out review of it. It's very late at night currently, and I don't want to drag this out for too long. But wow. I think I officially found my favorite video game of all time. It took me long enough, but it was so worth it.
