Wow act 2 of this game is a drag. Shame because Act 1 is a near perfect roguelite. I understand with a gameplay loop this simple they'd have to change it up eventually and I think Act 3 is broadly a big step up from 2, even matching 1's quality in it's best moments, but it was tough to get back into the flow of the game after something as aesthetically and mechanically bland as the 2nd act (not to mention frustrating). Generally enjoyed the narrative presentation as someone who grew up with ARG's and creepypasta urban legend videos and the meta themes are nicely handled.
