LeonardoMF93 commented on LeonardoMF93's review of Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition
@Dead_By_Dawn I saw that you posted a comment and deleted it. I want to apologize if you think I wanted to characterize someone as a true or false gamer. The true gamer I meant is simply someone who enjoys playing, nothing more. Each person can make their own judgment in that sense.

Regarding Pikachu, I don't think it bothered me much. It's just a matter of taste.

I totally agree. I think it is the best Kirby game in a long time, but I think it lacked a bit more heart in development.

@RedBackLoggd It would be wonderful if that were the only problem with Scarlet/Violet. haha

I think practically everyone who plays Pokémon must have watched the anime at some point in their lives, right? haha Now, without a doubt, the experience of playing the first generation games is much better for those who watched the first generation in the anime.

I actually agree with a lot of what you said! haha

I think it must be in the top 3 most beautiful games on the GBA.

I don't think it will ever come to Switch Online because of copyright issues.

I played it on an emulation console. The game is very good despite being very difficult.

Thanks, man! Maybe I'll try another game. I don't know.

By the way, what is the "Black Hawk Down problem"? haha

@RedBackLoggd Without a doubt, the combat animations are quite simple, but I think when someone goes to play a Gameboy game, they should expect that. Honestly, I think that the more current Nintendo Switch games help in not demanding good animation because the expectation is very low.

I think Red/Blue/Yellow didn't even try to have a good story, and I think that's okay. All the background I already have from the anime in my head helps me create my own story.

I agree with you that FireRed/LeafGreen is better, but I think for people who have already played that version, it's nice to play Red/Blue/Yellow. I don't think there's a significant drop in quality.

Reach actually focuses a lot on the story, but I think the characters are not charismatic. In fact, I often got confused about who was who, as the armor looked very similar. I must be the only one on the internet with this opinion.

Unfortunately, the bad experience I had discouraged me from getting into the franchise, and the newer games have also been heavily criticized.

@RedBackLoggd How curious, I think the fact that the combat is simple is a merit, especially for new players. Honestly, I think the new games have evolved but not by much, and we still have the same gameplay formula today. The game being slow is a problem, but it is resolved in emulators.

As for the story, I can't even consider it for Pokémon. I've played almost every generation, and none stand out so much that it's worth criticizing here.

Regarding FireRed/LeafGreen, it is certainly a better version, especially in terms of graphics. It's been about 15 years since I played, so I don't remember much, but I think it's basically the same game, just much prettier. That's why I think it's interesting for people to play Red/Blue/Yellow to know how the franchise started.

As for Let's Go, I can only recommend it for children. I find the game much simpler, even compared to Yellow.

LeonardoMF93 commented on notPara's review of Heavy Rain
I played this game about 10 years ago, so my memory might be betraying me. At the time, I was impressed with the number of paths and endings the story could take. That's why, as much as I liked The Walking Dead, the few changes in the story left me disheartened. We had more elaborate games like Detroit: Become Human, but as far as I remember, Heavy Rain had a much deeper and more realistic story.
