No, guys! This isn't Ace Combat 2! This is obviously the sequel to the Arcade game Air Combat and not the spiritual successor Air Combat on PS1, it's so obvious guys...

Air Combat 22 1995 is a sequel to Air Combat from 1993 on Namco System 21, with its name being a derivative of the Namco System Super 22 and not the 22nd Air Combat game.
This game is pretty much what the original did but in a playable state, the goal is still the same as its predecessor as you just have to destroy all evil planes on screen like all Aircraft combat games. The game feels much more polished this time with graphics that feel like a mix of the PS1 and PS2, the game itself is pretty short it's only like 5 missions but it has other game modes, to be honest, I haven't dug much into this game because it's overall just "fine" and I didn't felt like going down a Japanese rabbit hole to figure out what game mode does what, but all I can say is that the base arcade playthrough is really short.

I personally wouldn't really recommend this game because it's just a really basic Aircraft combat simulator but like if you ever come across it in an arcade you should give it a try, but going through the whole mame mess to emulate a 10 minutes long game isn't worth it.
