Scarlet Nexus was fine. Far from bad but pretty comfortably meh. Definitely a bit less than what I was hoping for, but not to the point where I regret the purchase. Combat is cool but also extremely awkward at times, and there's some obnoxious bullet-spongy fights that don't make a whole lot of sense or feel very satisfying. The world is very eh and the extreme linearity made it less than engaging. Characters and voice acting were strong, not the strongest but strong nonetheless. The plot twists were actually pretty good though, and mostly unexpected, which did keep me engaged in the latter half of the game. It is really just not a game I would want to go back to for any reason after finishing it.
