One of the best showcases of new hardware in existence. Not only did this game blow me away with use of the Dualsense but it is a genuinely beautiful, charming and carefully crafted experience that is hard to believe is a free game. You can get as much out of the game as you want; spending time getting the platinum medal or going for time trial records is wholly worth it but just playing to the ‘end’ is memorable all the same. It’s incredibly impressive just how jam-packed with details and references the game is. Because of the relatively short length, the developers were able to spend time refining every single segment of each level, pushing quality heavily over quantity. I loved trying to figure out every little reference and interacting with secrets scattered around. The gameplay is obviously simple but extremely varied and intricately fine-tuned to near perfection.

Sony truly outdid themselves with this beautiful and impressive pack-in game and it’s hard to find really anything wrong with it at all, and is something every single new PS5 owner absolutely needs to play through.
