This is it. My favorite Kirby game. On the surface it may not seem like much compared to Super Star but I love this game like you wouldn't believe. Copy abilities are back to doing one thing again akin to Adventure, but Kirby's abilities are enhanced by the absolute KINGS (and one queen) known as the Animal Helpers. They all have their pros and cons but its always dependent on what level you're at or just what you're looking for. Rick can wall jump, Coo is wind resistant, Kine is the water master, Nago has a triple jump, Chu Chu can cling to ceilings, and Pitch....he's just built different. They're all fun to use. The game's mechanic of doing a mission for the 100% bonus might get on some people's nerves, I know particularly the matchup games aren't always great, but for me it adds an extra layer of charm to the game. I won't spoil it but you may even see some slightly familiar characters on the journey? The music is obviously gonna be good, Kirby practically lives on the SNES so by this time they worked that soundchip to their will. The graphics? Oh my goodness this game looks gorgeous. It definitely took a page from Yoshi's Island with it's crayon-esque style but it's still so visually distinct from that game, it makes me wish we could have a hand drawn Kirby game. That's pretty much it, I heavily recommend this game. Oh yeah and one more thing, Gooey is the most perfect creature ever created and every time you look at him he cures your depression.
