(Review Copied from my Twitter Review @ZedZedboi)

Tunic is such a special experience. My game of the year for sure and one of my favorite games in a very long time. Every aspect of this game was so well executed.
@dicey truly made something special with this one!

The art style is of course immaculate and unlike anything else out there. I feel like every frame of the game could genuinely be a wallpaper. Also, the world is just?? So freaking large and full of secrets around every corner. Exploration is so rewarding.

Speaking of rewarding, solving the puzzles behind many of the secrets of the world is possibly the most rewarding puzzle-solving in any game I’ve ever played. The epiphany of the answer to the final puzzle of the game was such a euphoric experience.

Like any great ‘zelda-like’ game, the item progression tree of the game is superbly done. It’s not overwhelming or overloaded but just present enough to give you with multiple different ways of fighting enemies. Combat is so satisfying as well.

Enemies get easier as you get better equipment and level up your stats while still providing you with harder enemies as you progress through the world. The souls-like bosses in the game are probably where I had the most trouble. The contrast in difficulty of them versus the regular enemies was pretty jarring at first as someone who is very bad at combat in games. However, I think it added a nice contrast to the game making those moments have more weight despite how much I might have raged at them 😅

Overall, #Tunic is freaking incredible and everyone should try it. Especially if you are into The Legend of Zelda or similar games. After waiting for this game since E3 2018, it brings me so much joy to say it was so worth the wait and then some. 😁🙏
Thank you @dicey @FinjiCo for giving me my 2022 game of the year.
