It's a fairly limited scope beat em up that's probably pretty fun with friends, and a neat powerup mechanic, but overall a little too boring flavor-wise to keep my interest. Made it about halfway through and wanted to move on through my xbox game pass list. The pixel art looks fine but it isn't stylized in a way I enjoy and there wasn't much that grabbed me about its narrative except a little bit of neat fleshy body horror that was very minimally teased in the levels I went through. As there's only 8 I could get through them quick if I wanted to, but rather this be a 1 and done. It's also a bit baffling where the russia part comes in, as they just seem to have slavic names and it's a shithole, which... I guess? but you'd think they'd lean a bit harder on that if they wanted it to orbit the concept of "russia as a country full of garbage people" meme.
