As a piece of lost media, I find myself obsessed with vicariously experiencing this game through whatever obscure online materials I can get my hands on. Unearthing old Vanillaware key art like video game archeology to get more than just a whiff of some grand fantasy vision for this ambitious, interesting, flawed and likely very clunky fever dream of a game. Theres something Vanillaware keeps picking around at and dammit, I need them to pull it all the way out of their heads already.

Turns out I lied! One last Vanillaware post (for real this time) but this game drives me crazy. Theres something there and I cant stop thinking about it whenever Vanillaware re-enters my focus.

I was so crushed when I learned there's LITERALLY no way to play this game right now. It just looks so neat. Also wild that it used assets from a cancelled 3D Princess Crown sequel.

As an aside, I even more recently learned that the aforementioned Princess Crown sequel was going to be a Dreamcast game, and I was even more crushed. We were so very robbed.

@TripleSMoon
Im holding out hope we get some sort of spiritual reimagining. If Grand Knights History could get incorporated into something like Unicorn Overlord, theres a chance the makings of these projects might see a second life in some future title.
