the banality of being trapped and limited by age, experience, knowledge, wisdom, location, and love. alongside it, the joy that shines through and within the flawed limited scope of an adolescent regardless. again and again, you try to please others and become your best self. things will surely work out differently next time. they have to! a quiet life burning through seasons until there's nothing left but the sound of the ocean lapping on the shore.

has the quintessential classic point and click adventure experience (for better or for worse! i had to look up a guide to progress at one point) but its short length and homage to the genre lends well to itself. seeing the dev stream made me realize how much there was to discover in this game.

if you ever wanted to visit the library of babel, doesn't get any better than this

a surprisingly extensive visual novel whose branching choices, reverberating farther and farther, chapter by chapter, unfortunately do not add up to a satisfying whole at the end. i liked half of the characters at least! the "canon" route of the story made me go : /

nice art direction! shame about the rest of it!

this was my mom's favorite game oddly enough. i remember doing my very best to get the blocks to the very top to hatch a winged star yoshi! the music is also very good. just a wonderfully sweet game.

this made my carpal tunnel worse

baby's first visual novel

obtuse writing and narrative direction. makes use of the ds touch controls in the most basic way, with lots of features that just seem to waste your time. as a T-Rated Anime Game though, it was the first of its kind that me and my brother experienced and we were captivated by the art direction and character designs despite everything.

finished playing through my aunt's file on her switch since many of the later levels she wasn't interested in doing since they were too hard. upon seeing the book at the end have her name she exclaimed "wow! why is my name on there? that's the coolest thing in this game!"

the graphics are inferior to the ps1 version of the game but like the title states, it is a fun reverie to travel through. memories welling up within me. my aunt was surprised at how many of the levels she remembers me and my brother playing. it's strange how this game's mood and music transports you to another time and space.

weirdly charming and calming to play! i feel like the timer in the first half of the level diminishes its gameplay a little and i think there should be more checkpoints... there's really not a good reason to linger in the levels longer than you need to after you complete the main objective unless you want to do tedious side quests. the combination of music and sound and color that's so intertwined with the level design is really cool though! the cartoony activism in the narrative is also really fun lol.

don't worry ankora im gonna get you a gf or die trying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what do you do when you're faced with impossible odds? your best! that's all you can do!
