I thought this would be a fetish-p*rn game, the way the internet (twitter) was losing their collective minds over themes of incest. It couldn't be further from the truth. The coffin of andy and leyley is through and through a horror game that delves into the themes of moral decay, codependency and desperation. Sure there are incestuous themes but in no way have they been glorified. The art style is unsettling yet beautiful, and the dark humour sticks. This game is the prime exhibit of how miserable people on twitter lack basic reading comprehension.
The game is unfinished and in early access and as such, my review is subject to change.

Returned back to playing this now that I've been seeing Insomniac's leaked build of their new wolverine game floating around. A fun hack-and-slash game that is loosely based on the movie by the same name. The story, and by extension, the movie was whack but the combat was pretty fun and the visuals were fine for the time.
This game felt like a tool for marketing the movie, maybe that's true, but unlike what some might think, they actually did an okay job on this one.

Venba presents a bittersweet narrative game that delves into Tamil and by extension the South Asian culture and the challenges faced by immigrant families adapting to a new life. I wished to see a few more dishes considering I've had my fair share of South Indian cuisine but they did well by covering most of the common ones. The game boasts a unique art style and banger soundtrack.
For some reason the screen was blurry throughout my play through. Think I'll call my mom now.
