What a sleeper hit! So much to love about this game. The interconnected world is one of the best I’ve ever seen; the combat and movement were truly excellent; the setting is rich and evocative, leaving me wanting to know more… so much to enjoy. I did turn off the timer, for me I didn’t want to be punished for trying to explore the world. Had zero regrets about it. It did feel like the game was trying to do too much at times, and included some mechanics that could have been trimmed out (e.g. crafting, fishing, the shovel). But those things didn’t detract from the experience. One of my top 5 games of 2021, what a great experience!
